Profile Settings

Your profile is the central place to manage your account identity, security, and personal information.

Click the Settings link in the sidebar, then select the Profile tab. You’ll see several sections organized by category.

At the top, you’ll find a quick summary of your account:

  • Current Plan — what tier you’re on (Free, Starter, Pro, or Business)
  • Your Role — your position in your organization (Owner, Admin, Editor, or Viewer)
  • Member Since — when you created your account
  • Usage Bars — quick visual indicators of your resource usage (QR codes created, scans this month, API requests, etc.)

This gives you a bird’s-eye view of where you stand.

Update the details that represent you:

  • Full Name — your display name (shown to team members)
  • Email — your login email (verified when you signed up)
  • Avatar — click to upload a profile picture (PNG, JPG, or GIF; max 5 MB)
  • Phone — optional contact number
  • Company — where you work
  • Website — your personal or company website
  • Street Address, City, Zip, Country — optional location info

These fields are mostly optional. Fill in what’s relevant to you. Your avatar and name are what teammates see, so keep those up to date if you’re working in a team.

This is where you manage how you log in and keep your account safe.

Qrius supports two ways to sign in:

  • Email & Password — you can change your password anytime
  • OAuth (Google or GitHub) — sign in with your existing accounts

If you signed up with OAuth but want to switch to email/password, you can set a password here and log in either way.

If you use email-based login, you can update your password:

  1. Click Change Password
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter a new password (at least 8 characters recommended)
  4. Confirm the new password

Your new password takes effect immediately. Old sessions remain active, but your next login will require the new password.

OAuth users (Google/GitHub sign-in) don’t have a password to change here — authentication is handled by your Google or GitHub account.

We display when you last signed into Qrius. If you see an unexpected sign-in time, it might be worth changing your password or checking for unauthorized access.

  1. Use a strong, unique password — avoid reusing passwords from other sites
  2. Update your avatar — a real photo (even if it’s just your initials) builds trust with teammates
  3. Keep your email up to date — account recovery emails go there
  4. If you change jobs — update your company and name so teammates know who you are
  5. Regular check-ins — occasionally review your login history and connected devices
